"GRAPEVINE LEAFROLL DISEASE – AN INCREASING PROBLEM FOR CALIFORNIA VINEYARDS" June 10, 2008 New research suggest that leafroll disease has become a far more serious problem in California vineyards than previously recognized. The disease was assumed to be largely graft-transmitted under California conditions. Unfortunately, this situation seems to have changed. In the face of what may be a epidemic wave of leafroll spread, we are have brought together experts from around the world with leading research programs on leafroll disease and on its vectors, mealybugs and soft scale.
