Integrated research projects encompass aspects of both viticulture and enology. These projects attempt to address the bigger picture of winegrowing by testing research questions that consider components of both grape growing and wine production. Integrated research encourages collaboration and sharing of knowledge and expertise. OSU and the Oregon Wine Industry recognize that while viticulture and enology are both distinct disciplines, it is important at times not to separate one from the other.
