Please join Compost Oregon for a free and informative presentation on the benefits of compost in vineyard soils. The presentation will feature Bob Shaffer, agronomist, horticulturist and viticulturist for Soil Culture Consulting. Bob Shaffer, a lifetime farmer, has spent 30 years working with organic farming systems which include winegrapes and soil issues. He consults for several vineyards in the Napa Valley and teaches cover crop classes at Napa Valley College where he trains hundreds of students each year. Topics covered will include:
