OSU Viticulture & Enology Outreach through Extension

Outreach: Hands On Learning and "Face" Time

Faculty in the OSU Viticulture and Enology Program are involved in developing new information and technology for the Oregon winegrape industry. Extension outreach is a critical component of research, and making information available to the industry is a important goal. Workshops, field days and conferences are developmed by the faculty as a forum to inform and educate the industry on new research findings and emerging issues in viticulture and enology. Dr. Patty Skinkis,  leads the OSU Viticulture Extension Program and Dr. James Osborne leads the OSU Enology Extension Program. Both Dr. Skinkis and Osborne, along with other faculty in the programs, give many seminars and workshops as part of OSU programs and as invited guests to workshops and symposia. This page is dedicated to providing industry with access to some of the resent presentations that were made throughout the state’s main grape growing regions.
