Who’s Who at OSU – Viticulture and Enology Research and Extension
We have a stellar group of individuals with various backgrounds to meet the needs of the industry here in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Many of the researchers are Oregon State University faculty who also collaborate with researchers and scientists in the USDA-ARS Horticulture Crops Research Unit. Research topics include vine physiology, vineyard management methods, insect and pest management, plant pathology, genetics and molecular mechanisms of grapevines, wine chemistry, yeast biology, flavor and sensory chemistry and wine marketing.
